Adobe comes with new AI application

Adobe has now presented its answer to AI generators such as Midjourney, Dall-E and Stable Diffusion. The new family of generative AI tools dubbed Adobe Firefly has a lot to offer and has the potential to be as influential as the original Photoshop we all know, which has been a standard since 1990.

Adobe has been integrating AI into its applications, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, for years. With Firefly, however, Adobe is now raising the level significantly and to a whole new level. The first beta version of Firefly brings text-to-image generation to Photoshop and, among other things, offers the ability to apply styles to text in Illustrator.

With Adobe Firefly, Adobe presents the data on which its AI models were trained more openly than, for example, Dall-E or Midjourney do. This is a major difference and strikes a chord with many users.

According to Adobe, this initial beta model was trained on Adobe Stock images, freely licensed content, and public domain content whose copyright has expired. But Adobe isn't making a lot of noise and is proceeding rather calmly. Adobe has now opened a beta registration for Firefly .

Have fun trying!
