Vibrance Mix is a DCTL for changing the vibrance of primary and secondary colors in a Six Vector for Look development in DaVinci Resolve..
Vibrance Mix is suitable for ACES as well as all LOG formats, DWG, Rec709.G24 and HDR!
Vibrance, also called Color Vibrance, refers to the vividness of colors. Vibrance Mix allows you to change color settings in a bundle without having to adjust parameters such as brightness, contrast or gamma individually. Vibrance Mix provides better and more flexible fine-tuning of color values than, for example, Color Boost in DaVinci Resolve.
In Vibrance Mix, the vibrance for the primary colors Red, Green and Blue and the secondary colors Cyan, Magenta and Yellow can be set individually. Since most of our tools work in CMY mode, the colors Cyan, Magenta and Yellow are also arranged above Red, Green and Blue in Vibrance Mix.
VIBRANCE IN PHOTOSHOP
In Photoshop vibrance can be adjusted using the Vibrance Tool.
In DaVinci Resolve the tool Color Boost is also intended for setting the vibrance, but it works differently than the vibrance in Photoshop. With Vibrance Mix you can adjust the vibrance for all colors at once, similar to Photoshop, but additionally for each of the primary and secondary colors separately!
Vibrance Mix works with a Six Vector, so very fine individual settings are possible for the six colors Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red, Green and Blue. In addition, the vibrance can also be controlled separately for the skin tones.
If you do not want to set the vibrance for each color separately but for all colors at the same time (as for example in Photoshop), you can do this with the slider ∑ (Sum).
Vibrance Mix can be combined very well with Color Mix, Hue Mix and FPE Mix.
The Vibrance Mix DCTL includes a Hue Chart. For quality control (QC), this can be switched on and displayed directly in the DaVinci Resolve viewer for checking.
The Vectorscope once again shows the difference between no vibrance and with maximum vibrance.
The Hue Mix DCTL does not contain LUTs and no LUTs were used to create it. All functions are mathematical. Hue Mix was developed by Filmentor.
Hue Mix is a digital product, so a "return" and associated refund is excluded. If you have any problems, please contact us by email.
